Supplier Planner

Job description:

• Daily material planning based on PDP and inventory targets
• Sending the delivery schedule (firm order + forecast) to suppliers taking into consideration agreed lead time
• Continuously reviews inventories and orders vs. the production schedule, the customer forecast and tactically adjust plans as needed
• Organizing the transport for import of raw material/components
• Assisting in expediting shipments of materials to meet changes in the production schedule or inventory receipts, when necessary, to support customer order fulfillment in tight supply or out of stock situations
• Providing support with requesting shipping documents if missing at the time of receipt of raw materials.
• Assisting with documenting, communicating, dispositioning, and receiving credit for damaged materials.
• Working with the purchasing department, incoming inspection and vendors to resolve defective material claims
• Following the supplier delivery performances
• Customer Specific Requirements (CSR)

If you:

• Have a university degree in a technical professional field such as Faculty of Technical Sciences, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Economics, or similar
• Have advanced knowledge of MS Office
• Speak the English language – advanced level
• Possess negotiation skills
• Possess communication skills and the ability to work as a team member
• Respect deadlines
• Are result-driven, goal and action-oriented
• Have the ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly
• Have the ability to adapt and learn quickly

Desirable:

• Previous working experience as a supplier planner
• Previous working experience in the automotive industry
• Knowledge of LEAN
• Knowledge of INCOTERMS
• Knowledge of CSR
