SUPPLIER QUALITY ASSURANCE SENIOR SPECIALIST

As a Supplier Quality Assurance Senior Specialist, you will act as a vital link between the R&D team and suppliers - ensuring that supplier capabilities align with design specifications and quality standards, managing component and process qualification, and contributing to cost optimization and process improvements across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with R&D teams to identify and prioritize supplier development needs
• Support supplier selection through structured qualifications and screening processes
• Assess and qualify new and existing suppliers in terms of product, cost, quality, and capacity
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and other applicable standards
• Work with Engineering teams to define and verify supplier process capabilities
• Drive supplier component development and approval through PPAP and other quality tools
• Conduct supplier audits and validations for new processes and manufacturing readiness
• Ensure key component milestones are achieved during product development
• Manage supplier-related changes for design, capacity, and new product introductions
• Prepare and present progress reports on component qualification
• Lead investigations into major quality issues and support resolution with suppliers
• Actively contribute to cost-reduction initiatives and continuous improvement activities
• Ensure supplier development activities are delivered on time and within budget

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Materials, Chemical Engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, or 8 years in related industries
• Extensive experience in supplier development and high-volume manufacturing environments
• Strong knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and quality/business systems
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and understand complex manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Business English (written and spoken)
• Capable of working in a dynamic, cross-functional, and international environment
• Self-driven, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
