Due to our continuous growth, we are looking for: SysOps Engineer for HPC and Simulation tools
Responsibilities
- Analyze workloads and suggest improvements in simulation workflows.
- Work with developers to optimize code for parallel processing and hardware efficiency.
- Monitor HPC clusters and nodes for performance, failures, and resource utilization.
- Manage job scheduling systems
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades (OS, drivers, libraries)
- Install, configure, and update simulation tools (e.g., Ansys, OpenFOAM, Abaqus, COMSOL)
- Maintain compilers, MPI libraries, debuggers, and other development tools
- Assist researchers, engineers, or scientists in using simulation tools and writing job scripts
About you
- At least 3+ years of working experience in SysOps or System Administrator role
- Experience of managing HPC architectures (clusters, GPUs, multi-core CPUs, interconnects like InfiniBand)
- Experience with Linux systems RHEL or other
- Hands-on experience with tools such as ANSYS, Digimat, Abaqus, MATLAB/Simulink
- Experience with GPU-based computing and containerized environments
- Scripting language knowledge (ideally Bash)
- Good knowledge of Dockers
- You are proactive in problem solving and continuously seek efficiency improvements in simulation practices.
- Proficient in written and spoken English
- Familiarity with parallel computing, scripting (Python, Bash)
It would be a plus to have
- Knowledge of cloud-based HPC platforms (e.g., AWS ParallelCluser, Azure CycleCloud, Google Cloud HPC)
- Basic knowledge of embedded systems
- Experience with automation of simulation pipelines using CI/CD
- Familiarity with CAD software
