What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar role (3+ years preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, or similar tools).
- Basic knowledge of networking and system administration concepts.
- Hands-on experience with hardware repairs, such as laptops and other office electronics.
- Intermediate English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new employees, including system setup, user account configuration, and workstation preparation.
- Manage the offboarding process, including deactivating user accounts, recovering company assets, and ensuring data security compliance.
- Provide on-site technical support for office users, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
- Manage and troubleshoot Office package applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Use the ticketing system to track, prioritize, and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Maintain and update IT hardware and software inventory.
- Perform laptop repairs, including diagnosing issues, replacing or upgrading parts, and ensuring hardware functionality.
- Handle basic electronic troubleshooting and maintenance of office equipment.
- Possesses a foundational understanding of electronics and soldering skills for assembling and repairing electronic components.
- Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards.
- Assist with basic network troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve processes and enhance system performance.
