Their Global Business Center (GBC) plays a crucial role in supporting global business operations by integrating essential functions such as accounting, procurement, HR, IT and sales. As a shared services center, GBC provides transactional services, expert support, and data analysis to their various locations worldwide, ensuring efficiency and streamlining processes across departments. 

We are seeking System Process Manager – Customer Order Processing to join their growing team. This person will be responsible for the global process excellence in customer order handling, customer-specific labeling and technical enablement of mid-term forecasting (APO). This role drives process stability, automation, and system integration in customer order processing to improve delivery reliability, system efficiency, and supply chain transparency.

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Order Process Optimization - Improve and harmonize global customer order processing across regions and platforms (SAP SD, EDI, scheduling agreements). Ensure process quality, automation, and stability in order entry, order changes, and delivery creation.
  • Labeling Management & Data Ownership - Ensure globally harmonized label management processes, covering VDA, GTL, 2D, and customer-specific formats. Coordinate label requirements with Sales and Customer Service and ensure technical feasibility in SAP and MES systems.
  • APO Forecast Support & Technical Integration - Support the mid-term forecasting process via SAP APO. Provide technical enablement for the export of financial forecast data and forecast orders into SAP MRP, to support supply planning in volatile supplier environments.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration - Act as process integrator between Customer Service, Logistics, Planning, Application Management, and Master Data teams. Drive system-to-process alignment and resolve interface issues.
  • Change & Project Management - Manage or support global projects and rollouts related to customer order processing, APO integration, and label data systems. Ensure proper testing, documentation, and stakeholder training.
  • Data Quality & Process KPIs - Define and track key metrics for order reliability, EDI stability, label compliance, and forecast integration quality. Initiate corrective actions and support transparency through reporting.
  • Training & Support - Support key users and process owners in customer order and labeling topics. Deliver training, documentation, and process knowledge to drive regional and global excellence.

Requirements: 

Must have

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Digital, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in this field
  • Prior working experience in SAP SD, APO, or logistics-related processes
  • Solid understanding of customer order processing, labeling requirements, and APO-to-MRP technical integration
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus)
  • Strong technical expertise in SAP modules and development, including SAP SD, SAP APO, SAP Labels, and SAP ABAP programming
  • High process orientation and ability to work in cross-functional, global teams

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of SAP IDoc processing, scheduling agreements, and label printing systems (e.g. Bartender, Nice Label)
  • Experience in process rollout projects and global template harmonization
  • Familiarity with Lean/Agile/TPM process management methods
