Job description
The Talent Acquisition Partner plays an integral part in providing Talent Acquisition services including cross-segment recruitment expertise on all aspects of the hiring process in a fast paced and highly competitive market.
Key responsibilities:
- Work closely with key stakeholders (Hiring managers) to determine core capabilities/experiences for success in the roles within their scope, create a strategy for requisitions of mid to senior level roles and work with key stakeholders in attracting the diverse candidates with the right skills and capabilities to ensure short and long-term business objectives that support MARS signature culture
- Actively manage the recruitment of all vacant roles, including organizing recruitment panels to ensure highest quality of candidates are hired
- Serve as subject matter expert in the area of talent acquisition and collaborate with Employer Branding Center of Expertize and actively using existing resources to successfully roll out Mars EVP
- Proactively provides market insights and trends that shape Segment strategy
- Coach Hiring Managers in terms of building recruitment capabilities and ensuring diverse talent pool
- Serve as MARS ambassador, guardian of caliber, culture fit, diversity and candidate experience
- Provide ongoing reporting regarding status of current open roles to HR Heads/BP and hiring managers
- Manage relationships with key recruitment services providers: ensure partners understand MARS values and are a consistent extension of MARS employer reputation to hiring managers & candidates and proactively applies MARS commercial principles in selecting external service providers
- Ensure best candidate experience by keeping candidates informed on the outcome and timings of the process.
- Responsible for the successful closing of recruitment process by preparing offer for chosen candidate and successful negotiation outcome. Serve as liaison between candidate and HR Operations specialist to ensure candidate data is obtained which feeds necessary administrative onboarding steps (contract preparation, Workday data management, benefits enrollment)
- In case of internal recruitment and hires/ initiates the Global Mobility Team process in close collaboration with Hiring Manager, Associate Relations Manager and HR Operations specialist.
- Continuously build an external talent pipeline; proactively source for high-quality candidates and maintain relationships with talent for future opportunities, create and nurture relationships with external agencies/sources of talent, develop creative and alternative external sources of talent and keep on leading edge of external recruitment best practices
- Effectively manage talent acquisition budget
Qualifications:
- University degree or equivalent, preferably in HR, Business
- 3+ years of experience in full life-cycle recruitment for mid-level positions in a complex, diverse, and high growth business
- Ability to deliver recruiting solutions to geographically distributed hiring managers while consistently delivering professional customer service
- Strong written, oral and listening communication skills
- Strong computer skills, PC with experience in Windows, Excel, PowerPoint and other applicable Talent Acquisition technologies & software (Workday experience considered as advantage)
- Ability to navigate in a complex work environment and drive significant change to get work done in efficient & effective way
- Understands the various interviewing methods and assessment tools, recruitment channels and is able to drive ROI within the area of expertise
