JOB DESCRIPTION
- Defines strategic target cost for new technologies and tooling concepts
- Conducts holistic evaluation of alternative technologies and tooling concepts
- Conducts financial evaluation of manufacturing concepts within the framework of the manufacturing strategy for the relevant product group
- Provides derivation of target cost for functions and components, based on the wining price definition which product management defines
- Ensures and continuously improves the standardized target costing process within the Business Unit
- Develops business sketches for innovation projects
- Establishes business cases for product group related profitability evaluations
- Creates capital requests and financial analyses for generic investments in R&D and manufacturing equipment
- Defines target cost for purchasing of strategic components for the product group
- Drives and supports measures for quality improvements and supports risk management in relation to the product group
- Evaluates technology related M&A activities
- Supports the Customer Centers / Segments in the creation of complex quote calculations, for new technologies and/or new manufacturing locations
- Defines and controls cost targets in customer specific quote calculations

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree, preferably in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience in cost analysis in an international company
- Experience in purchasing and / or business development would be considered as an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of data processing tools, data base applications and sharepoint
- MS Office advanced
- Strong intercultural and social competency
- Experience in managing interdisciplinary and international virtual teams
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English
