Yandex is looking for a Tax Manager in Serbia.
Tasks that await you:
- Managing tax audits and various forms of corporate tax controls
- Providing advice on tax-related issues, including positions on uncertain tax matters
- Researching complex tax issues
- Monitoring changes in tax laws
- Ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations
- Developing tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities
- Assisting with mergers and acquisitions
- Providing support to management on tax-related decisions
We expect that you:
- Are highly knowledgeable about Serbian legislation regarding accounting, taxes, working with various contracts and types of activities
- Have worked on projects for multinational companies, including international tax planning
- Are proactive, capable of planning and organizing work, and able to communicate thoughts clearly and concisely
- Have more than five years of experience in a similar role
- Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Are fluent in Serbian and English, Russian would be a bonus
It'd be a plus if you:
- Have worked in a Big 4 company
- Have experience in the IT or media sectors
