Technical Director - Construction

On behalf of our client, engineering and construction company, which is offering comprehensive services in the field of industrial construction, we are looking for a motivated candidate to successfully fill the position: Technical Director - Construction m/f, Place of work: Belgrade

Job description and responsibilities:

• Supervising multiple construction projects simultaneously ensuring that project deliverables are met and that projects are completed within technical specifications, time and budgetary constraints
• Determining resource requirements (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations
• Planning all construction operation and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
• Coordinating a team of professionals of different disciplines to achieve the best results
• Securing all necessary construction permits and licenses and ensuring work is performed according to applicable laws and regulations
• Negotiating contracts conditions with vendors and subcontractors
• Hiring contractors and other staff and assigning responsibilities
• Supervising the work of employees and subcontractors and maximizing productivity and give guidance when needed
• Overseeing and evaluating construction projects’ progress and provide detailed reports on timeline, project progress, cash flow, profitability and reconciliations

Requirements:

• 3+ years in a similar role (12+ years construction industry experience)
• Civil Engineering degree (MSc)
• Excellent knowledge of English language – minimum C1 level
• Knowledge of German and/or Russian is an advantage
• Expert user of MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project
• Ability to work in a team and under pressure
• One or both of the following engineering licenses: 310, 410
