Technical Service Specialist is responsible for performing planned maintenance activities, hardware and software upgrades and for back up first line level one service and assisting with installations and de-installations.

Major accountabilities and responsibilities
Technical Service Specialist is standard field service engineer role providing direct customer support on-site in laboratory in defined territory
Standard service activities include
- Installation and implementation of new analyzers according to Abbott standards and procedures in new and current customer sides,
- Typical service activities are performed in customer laboratory focused on servicing of In vitro medical devices working with biohazard materials (like blood, serum, plasma, urine, etc.)
- Perform hardware and software instrument upgrades and repair with interventions using standard service tools (electronic multimeter, vacuum and pressure meter, laser power meter), as Abbott analyzers are utilizing different measuring technologies
- Schedule and perform planned maintenance activities according to standardized procedures per officially distributed ISA and TSB
- Maintaining and managing local spare parts stock
- Report regularly highlights to service management
Troubleshoot application and instrumentation by telephone and onsite, complaint logging and tracking in Call Management System - Co-operate within the field service team on continuous product and process improvements to provide highest quality level service experience to our customers
- Represents Abbott in a professional manner at all times to develop and preserve a positive customer relationship and achieve customer satisfaction and loyalty,
- success in this role is measured by customer satisfaction score (NPS), service key performance indicators achievement and economic growth and profitability
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
- Bachelor degree of Electrical Engineering (Medical technology is preferred.)
- Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering (Medical technology is preferred.)
Background
- Proven track record in a similar position supported by management and customer references as a plus , fresh graduates with relevant degree are welcome
- Technical expert for product line responsibility;
