Hero is seeking an enthusiastic Telesales Representative to join our quickly growing team. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with superior people skills, focusing on customer needs to close sales. This individual must be confident in their ability to present products to customers as well as work to attract new business while operating within a fast paced, fluid environment.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate sales with potential customers by phone, SMS, chat, and online for both inbound and outbound
- Listen to the customers' needs in order to proactively identify obstacles and potential solutions
- Handle all aspects of completing a sale; Gather and document customer information, payment methods, purchases, etc.
- Stay informed and up to date on all products and services
- Answer questions as they relate to the company’s products
- Understand and strive to meet and exceed individual sales quotas
- Provide high levels of customer service at all times
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years in a customer service or call center role or a related position
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Proven track record of strong organization (e.g. record keeping)
- Strong sales skills; Possess the patience and ability to engage customers in meaningful conversation
- Working knowledge of relevant computer software and phone systems
- Excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills; Able to think creatively
- Able to handle rejection and stress in soliciting customers
- Flexible and able to work with any task assigned even if outside of typical telesales expectations
- Ability to adhere to an assigned set work schedule and be available during those times
Requirements:
- Access to high quality high speed internet and be able to access via Ethernet port
- Must submit and pass a background check
