- At least one year of experience working as a dispatcher (53ft)
- You have excellent knowledge of English (speaking and writing)
- You have interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communication
- You are a team player
- You are ready to learn and improve yourself
- You have basic computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, Internet browser, Google Apps)
Responsibilities:
- Receive calls and record significant information
- Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions
- Book loads for company drivers and owner operators
- Communicate daily with brokers about freight movement and delivery timetables
- Monitor drivers’ locations
- Monitor drive & shift hours
- Monitor the route and status of drivers to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
- Provide drivers with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements
- Enter data in software
- Provide documentation about service activities and provide regular updates
- Build relationships with drivers
