Truck Driver Recruiter

Job summary:

As a Truck Driver Recruiter at Strong Group, you will be a crucial member of our team, responsible for sourcing, managing, and processing new driver leads and applications. Your primary goad will be to identify and recruit qualified owner operators to support our growing transportation operations. This role requires excellent communication and sales skills, together with the experience as a Truck Driver Recruiter in the USA transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and process new driver leads and applications / hot leads passed by our marketing department
• Initiate contact with candidates through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods to assess their interest and qualifications
• Provide information, build rapport and influence potential drivers to drive
• Cold call
• Maintain contact with drivers throughout the onboarding process
• Weekly follow up with new drivers
• Ensure candidates meet the company's hiring criteria and regulatory requirements by verifying driving records, criminal records and employment history
• Maintain accurate records of candidate documentation and information
• Other assignments as needed

Skills and Qualifications:

• Must be fluent in English, written and spoken
• Spanish language is an advantage
• Great communication and sales skills
• Good people skills
• Previous experience in recruiting owner operators or a related role within transportation industry
