CORE NETWORK TECHNICIAN

In Belgrade,

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• control, planning, implementation, installation and maintenance of the infrastructure of various network segments (IP CORE, IP Enterprise and DWDM) in Serbia, the Region and the EU (occasionally) and in data centers
• on-site interventions on IP network and transport (DWDM) equipment and related parts in accordance with the services we provide to users
• installation, connection and setting of basic server infrastructure parameters (occasionally)
• execution of all interventions (24/7) in accordance with defined SLA parameters for users of IP services and transport networks
• creation and regular updating of documentation related to IP and DWDM equipment, cabling plan, spare equipment, etc.
• duties related to receiving new equipment, existing spare equipment and equipment replacement procedures in accordance with procedures for different suppliers.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• SSS/VSS technical major, Electrical Engineering or Computing/Informatics
• Category B driver's license 
• Knowledge of English language A2/B1 level
• Computer skills (MS Office, Outlook)
• Experience in working with IP, MPLS, DWDM technologies is an advantage
• Knowledge of network protocols and tools for monitoring and diagnostics is an advantage
