New Monaco Media is seeking a creative video editor to join our remote team. You will use your exceptional editing and storytelling abilities to produce engaging videos that captivate our audience. Primary duties include sourcing and editing raw footage into polished content for our platforms. 

We're looking for someone who can create binge-worthy videos with compelling intros, smooth transitions, and enhancements that spotlight key moments. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous experience creating successful 60-sec videos for YT shorts, TikTok and Instagram.
• Owner mentality. This means you can stick to a schedule, hit deadlines, and work independently and asynchronously.
• Communicate early about questions or issues.
• Constantly curious and desire to improve and learn new skills.
• Strong command of the English language.
• Knowledge of ChatGPT and other AI tools.
• Demonstrate strong organization and PM skills.
• Develop and document repeatable systems and processes.
• Responsive to Whatsapp and/or emails during work hours.

EDITOR REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong sense of timing and pacing. This is key.
• Proficiency grabbing a article written by our team and converting it into an eye-catching 60 video for social media.
• Ability to think of strong hooks and titles to engage the viewer n the first few seconds to watch the rest of the video.
• Ability to pull content from other pages to use on our videos.
• Ability to add simple, but engaging B-roll when needed.
