We are actively seeking highly experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team, in in Novi Beograd, Serbia.
The Warehouse Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure efficient and effective management of inventory, facilities, personnel and play a strategic role in optimizing warehouse processes, implementing best practices, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost optimization, and performance enhancement while implementing best practices, SOPs, and technology solutions like WMS to automate processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead and manage warehouse staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to foster teamwork and accountability.
- Delegate tasks, set performance goals, and conduct regular evaluations to drive employee engagement.
- Implement best practices and SOPs to optimize workflows, productivity, and cost efficiency.
- Monitor KPIs and metrics to assess warehouse performance, utilization, inventory accuracy, and labor productivity.
- Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics providers to coordinate logistics and ensure timely delivery.
- Manage service agreements and resolve disputes to maintain strong partnerships.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies.
- Conduct audits, training sessions, and assessments to mitigate risks and ensure legal compliance.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control methodologies, logistics best practices, and a solid understanding of safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, inspire teams to achieve common goals and to articulate complex ideas and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrate ability to drive operational excellence, implement process improvements, and achieve measurable results in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 7 years of progressive experience in warehouse management or logistics operations, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles for cold storage and / or ambient.
- Good business writing and verbal skills both in Greek and English.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
