Word Press Expert

We are in immediate need for Wordpress expert. This person must have very high attention to details, be creative and must understand, speak and write conversational English fluently. This position is for a network of our Wordpress sites that we are building.

Skills needed:

• Advanced knowledge of Wordpress (installing WP sites from scratch, setting up Wordpress, permalinks, editing theme files, customizing themes)
• Must have previous strong experience with setting up and customizing Wordpress websites
• Strong knowledge of HTML and CSS must be comfortable with editing theme files and doing the required changes in the code itself (must know how to remove some part from the theme if we don't want it)
• Basic knowledge of PHP
• Graphics experience is a plus (creating logos etc)
• Excellent English is necessary
• Must be detail oriented and able to meet deadlines
• Being familiar with concepts such as CPC, RPM (eCPM), CTR, pageviews per visit, Exit%, Bounce rate, is a big plus.

Work duties will include:

• Setting up new Wordpress sites with Premium themes that we use and preparing sites so that we can start putting content on it
• Installing and setting all required plugins that we use
• Making the site thematic choosing site colors, background, logo (in cooperation with our designer). So if the site is about celebrities, you know how to make it look celebritystyle. If the site is about diets, you know how to make it appeal to the dieters' crowd.
• Setting up the homepage of Wordpress site and making it look appealing (this is where your creativity comes in) by arranging widgets / settings in theme admin.
• Adding ad codes inside theme files where required you must know how and where EXACTLY in template files to add ad code that we give you (for example ad code that goes just below the article content, you need to know which template file that goes to, and where exactly in the template file to put the ad code)
• When not creating new sites, join the team of article formatters and help with uploading and formatting new articles on the site (making text article look nice, formatting it according to our rules, putting images, ad shortcodes, and publishing at the end).
