We are looking for a skilled developer with experience building websites using Wordpress. Our ideal candidate should have experience building websites with Premium Wordpress themes, custom editing, plugin selection, security, performance, mobile-first design, and custom integrations. This position is remote with flexible hours.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Propose best practices and develop WordPress websites and webshops
- Be responsible for the conceptualization, visual appearance, development and testing of websites
- Communicate with our team - designer and copywriter – in order to get the job done successfully
- Test solutions across multiple browsers and platforms in a local testing environment
- Implement tracking codes for Google analytics, Google search console, Facebook pixel and Google ads remarketing codes.
- Finish job in required deadline
- Work on SEO
Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional work experience with Wordpress and Woocommerce, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL
- Website development in WordPress, both on the front and back-end
- Establishing and guiding the website’s architecture
- Ensuring high website performance
- Ability to understand and perform CSS modifications in order to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
- Understand the concept of MySQL, familiar with phpMyAdmin and the WordPress database structure
- User interface solving problems (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience in developing responsive design websites, WordPress theme and plugin audits
- Plugin and theme installation
- Database Management (MySQL)
- Experience with website speed optimisation
- Experience building E-commerce sites on the WooCommerce framework
- Must have experience with custom themes and custom plugin development
- Experience with integrating 3rd party services via REST or webhooks on payment gateways, shipping and fulfillment and tax platforms
- Basic SEO knowledge is a must
- Google analytics, Google seach console, Facebook pixel and Google ads tracking codes integration using custom integration or Tag Manager
- You must be a quick learner and self-motivated
- you must have ability to work independently
- You must have high attention to details
- You must be able to produce quality bug-free work
