Test and QA Junior specialist is an entry level role in Yettel's QA team focused on ensuring the quality of software or products by executing test ensuring the quality of software or products by executing manual tests, reporting defects, and collaborating with development team, solution architect, business analysts. Colleagues on this position assist in various testing activities, including manual and automated testing, and contribute to the overall quality assurance process in Yettel company.
What we will expect from you:
- Executing test cases for IT systems
- Documents all found defects and creating tickets for relevant teams
- Follows status and reporting regarding all open defects
- Maintenance of test environments and test data
- Perform reporting for relevant testing such as defect reports, test summary reports, test analysis reports
- Participate in the preparation and realization of test phases within projects
- Promote and ensure usage of all relevant IT tools such as JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Cypress
For a good start you will need:
- University degree preferably from the Telecommunication/IT area
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal)
- Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, processes, SDLC
- Strong ability to details and ability to analyze and organize information
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- A result-oriented individual and proactive
