Accountant

A well-known International company in order to fulfill the growth on domestic market is looking for successful candidate for:

The role:

She/he plays an active role by posting and delivering information and documentations in Finance and Accounting department.  

The selected candidate will have the following responsibilities:

• following, controlling and processing the incoming and outgoing invoices in business and accounting system 
• booking the fixed assets, bank statements, patty cash, travel costs, foreign services, business cards, insurance, claims and other incoming invoices
• invoicing the monthly installments and other miscellaneous invoices to customers 
• reconciliation of dedicated accounts in general ledgers preparing the payment list, control of payments and remittance
• preparing the trial balance reports according to statutory reequipments
• creditors and debtors reconciliations, open items, auditors confirmations  
• preparing the files for VAT  forms,  tax calculations and others tax forms and disclosure
• performing the monthly, quarterly and annual permanent controls
• participation in internal and external audit
• other activities in scope of business area

The successful candidate should has: 

• minimum 2 year working experience in accounting and good knowledge of IFRS and Serbian accounting standards 
• good knowledge of English 
• good knowledge of MS Office and other tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet) 
• good planning and organizational skills, ability to work with tight deadlines 
• service minded - proactive - flexible 
• team player, able to work autonomously and follow the procedures. 
• enthusiastic and positive 
• background in international business environment will be positively valuated
