As an Accountant in TMF Group, you will be responsible to provide efficient and high-quality service to portfolio of assigned clients. You will work in accordance with local Accounting and Tax legislation and in line with internal clients’ regulations, as well in compliance with all internal procedures and standards.

Through work for various clients from different industries, you will have the opportunity to enrich your knowledge of financial complexities. You'll play a key role in building long-lasting relationship with clients who count on us for top-tier, reliable financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Up-to-date accounting for received documentation;
• Participating in annual statutory audits and preparing statutory financial statements;
• Preparing monthly, quarterly reports and cash flows according to Serbian and international rules;
• Archiving of documentation, preparing correspondences and sorting documentation;
• Preparing and submitting of tax forms as well as other supporting data for tax reports;
• Generating trial balance as well as reconciliation of sub ledgers;
• Drafting of accounting documents such as outgoing invoices, business travel calculations, etc.
• Communication with banks, tax office, commercial register and other institutions relevant for client's business;

Key Requirements

The successful candidate is analytical and methodical with proven track record in bookkeeping. Previous experience in preparing of VAT tax returns is desirable. Exemplary people skills, integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.

Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria:

• At least 3 years of experience in accounting with a focus on bookkeeping;
• Experience in preparing VAT declarations would be considered as an advantage;
• Previous experience in multinational company and in outsourcing service company is preferred;
• Ability to communicate and interact well with clients, business partners and colleagues;
• Willingness and ability to work in a team;
• Ability to excel in challenging and fast-paced environments;
• Good level of English
