Accounting Specialist with Controlling Responsibilities (w/m/d) – Full-time and with professional experience

To strengthen our team in Belgrade, we are currently looking for:
Accounting Specialist with Controlling Responsibilities (w/m/d) – Full-time and with professional experience
Responsibilities:
- Handle general ledger accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and ensure compliance
- Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control
- Conduct variance analysis and provide financial insights
- Assist in audits and improve financial processes
- Full responsibility for operational project controlling, from setup and monitoring to invoicing and collection
- Support management with analyses on projects, productivity, revenue, costs, and provisions based on monthly closings.
Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience
- Professional use of MS Office (especially Excel) and good knowledge of financial and travel expense accounting systems
- Accuracy, discipline, and goal orientation are part of your personality
- Hands-on personality with an independent and structured way of working, combined with a high level of commitment
- Business fluent (minimum level B2) in English and Serbian ; any other Eastern European language is an advantage
- Experience with Business Central is a plus.
