Accounting Specialist

Representative office of Delta Freight System, LLC, is fast growing company based in Jagodina. We are currently looking for highly motivated and reliable candidates for a position of:

Accounting Specialist (based in Jagodina)

Job Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with external accounting contacts and answer on their inquires
• Follow the procedures in order to maximize collections and minimize billing discrepancies
• Prepare reports for internal use
• Follow accounts receivable records to prevent past due invoices
• Strive to meet and exceed aging goals on a consistent basis
• Capable to follow the procedures and resolve payment disputes 
• Execute administrative tasks, including document uploading and retrieval
• Daily review of unpaid invoice data base and follow up with customers 
• Prepare and send a customer collection notice
• Update the internal invoicing system for new invoices and customer payments
• Other administrative activities related to accounting
• Providing of superior customer service through transparent and professional communication with customers via phone and email

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience working in accounting, preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
• Excellent knowledge of MS office (especially Excel)
• Ability to maintain a very high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop successful relationships with clients
• Familiarity with basic accounting principles and procedures
• Organization, accuracy, attention to detail and ability to gather data from external sources
