We are seeking motivated Accounts Receivable Associates to join our new Shared Service Center team. You will support Magna in optimizing global financial operations in SAP S/4HANA, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer invoices and incoming payments, and contributing to the harmonization of AR processes across countries such as Germany, Austria, Slovakia, Italy, and Switzerland.
Main Duties
- Process customer invoices and monitor incoming payments in a timely and accurate manner
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities related to Accounts Receivable
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and internal controls
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., Sales, Controlling, HR, IT)
- Contribute to documentation and standardization of AR procedures
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding AR transactions
Requirements
- Completed commercial education or equivalent qualification in finance, accounting, or business administration
- Initial experience in Accounts Receivable or general accounting preferred
- Experience in a Shared Service Center or international environment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and affinity for numbers
- Hands-on mentality and proactive approach
- Team player with good communication skills
- Structured and independent working style
- Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and MS Office (especially Excel)
- Good English skills (written and oral); German or other languages beneficial
