YOUR TASKS WILL BE:

Occupational Health and Safety

• Performs the duties of the responsible person for occupational health and safety
• Conducts risk assessment procedures
• Supervises and advises the employer in planning, selection, use, and maintenance of work equipment, hazardous materials, and personal protective equipment
• Participates in the setup and arrangement of the workplace to ensure safe and healthy working conditions
• Organizes preventive and periodic testing of working environment conditions
• Organizes preventive and periodic inspections and checks of work equipment
• Proposes measures to improve working conditions, especially in high-risk workplaces
• Monitors and controls daily implementation of health and safety measures by the employer
• Tracks incidents related to workplace injuries and occupational diseases, participates in identifying their causes, and prepares reports with proposed corrective measures
• Prepares and conducts employee training for safe and healthy work practices
• Prepares safety instructions and monitors their implementation
• Prohibits work at the workplace or use of work equipment if an immediate danger to life or health is identified
• Cooperates and coordinates activities with occupational medicine services on all health and safety issues
• Maintains records in the field of health and safety at work
• Keeps up with new regulations in the field of occupational health and safety
• Implements and maintains the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System
• Cooperates with relevant inspections and institutions in the field of occupational health and safety

Fire Protection

• Performs the duties of the responsible person for fire protection
• Conducts and improves fire safety measures, Ensures implementation of preventive fire protection measures
• Organizes correction of identified deficiencies in fire safety
• Conducts fire safety training for employees
• Collaborates with relevant inspections and institutions in the field of fire protection

Environmental Protection

• Proposes measures to reduce the negative environmental impact of the company
• Engages authorized companies and laboratories for necessary environmental measurements and tests
• Maintains required environmental protection records
• Manages waste in compliance with legal regulations (creating waste tracking documentation, daily monitoring of generated waste quantities, reporting to the Environmental Protection Agency, etc.)
• Manages chemicals in accordance with legal requirements
• Follows new environmental protection regulations
• Implements and maintains the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System
• Cooperates with relevant inspections and institutions in the field of environmental protection, and personnel within the company
• Cooperates with relevant inspections and institutions in the field of physical security

Profile:

• Minimum of Level VI education (college degree) in technical sciences
• Training for waste management officer or internal auditor for energy and environmental protection is an advantage
• License for OHS Advisor/Associate
• Experience with standards and laws related to safety and environmental management
• Safety representative training and experience in the Automotive industry will be considered as an advantage
• High level of awareness, structured and independent working approach
• Teamwork capability, problem-solving skills, and persistence
• Fire-protection certificate
