After Hours Dispatcher

AAA Freight is looking for a motivated, responsible and reliable individual to join our team as an After Hours Dispatcher.

Job description:

• Responsible for the uninterrupted operation of the fleet outside regular working hours
• Communicates with drivers, brokers, and operations teams after hours
• Ensures operational continuity and quickly resolves urgent situations
• Updates load and truck statuses in the system
• Provides support to drivers during nights and weekends
• Monitors all active trucks after working hours
• Proactively responds to prevent larger operational issues
• Maintains operational stability until the start of the day shift
• Handles after-hours communication with brokers
• Resolves urgent broker requests (reschedule, lumper, detention approval)
• Monitors and responds to messages via email, portal systems, or the TMS

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
