BI Analyst - Sports Operations

Location: Belgrade 

Job description:

• Execute ad-hoc data requests by writing efficient SQL to extract, join, and aggregate data from multiple databases.
• Build and maintain basic Power BI reports (clean data model, simple visuals, filters/slicers).
• Support senior teammates on larger analytical tasks (data prep, testing, documentation.
• Perform data quality checks and ensure consistency of KPIs/definitions.
• Proactively learn BI best practices (SQL, DAX, Power Query, source control, performance basics).

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Information Systems).
• Proficiency in English.
• Strong computer skills: Excel, SQL, Power BI (Python is a plus).
• Analytical and curious mindset, with attention to detail and structured thinking.
• Interest in sports and/or betting industry.
• Eager to learn and open to feedback.
• Strong communication skills and proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Team player who is reliable with deadlines.

Preferred background:

• Internships, student projects, or participation in analytics competitions are a plus.
• Experience in data/BI teams within fintech, e-commerce, sports betting, or analytics consultancy.
