Job title: Billing Analyst
Office location: Serbia with Hybrid working (3 days in the office)
Contract type: FTC (2 years)
About the role and the Team:
Hyperoptic Billing department will have a dedicated analyst that will perform best practice analysis to producing billing reports, monthly departmental performance reporting, ad-hoc reporting request regarding the incident management and project impact assessments, supporting processes and billing policies. Incorporate proactive nature reporting practice into work. Ensuring the daily monitoring of billing cycles, review of monthly billing KPIs including incident management KPIs.
What will you be doing?
- Ensure daily billing run timeliness, completeness and accuracy by using tools and controls put in place
- Analyse data from multiple sources and provide actionable insight to Billing, Customer Finance and wider business audience enabling better understanding and comprehension of billing related topics, influencing adoption and development of billing initiatives and projects
- Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Proactively identify inconsistencies in daily operations/process/calculations, correct the inconsistencies and escalate the problem to the next level if necessary.
- Work with an communicate well with various stakeholders to drive improvements in billing processes and policies
- Support companywide projects in domain of billing, provide timely requirements, use cases and support the team during pre-project release phase and post project release
- Ensure operational quality and completeness of billing function trough daily billing checks, incident management and system updates and improvement efforts
- Ensure accounting completeness and accuracy related to the customer billing
What we are looking for:
- University Degree – Faculty of Economics - DESIRABLE
- Strong Excel skills
- 3+ years' experience of working in accounting or billing area
- Previous experience of working in a geographically dispersed team
- Capable of working under pressure to tight deadlines and accepting feedback as a guide to develop and improve
- SAP knowledge - DESIRABLE
