Calculation Engineer

Our Niš-based subsidiary, Mekoprint cables d.o.o., specializing in cable and harness assembly, is looking for a skilled Calculation Engineer to support and improve our production processes.

Detailed scope of responsibilities within the department:

• Preparation and evaluation of offers, as well as updating existing ones
• Process analysis regarding the feasibility of new products
• Procurement of alternative components for serial products or products in the quotation phase
• Preparation of bills of materials (BOM)
• Creation of technological processes (routings)
• Negotiations with clients regarding documentation and final product versions
• Close cooperation with internal departments such as sales, engineering, customer service, procurement, as well as direct communication with clients

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of the company’s strategic goals
• Ensuring appropriate service quality for internal and external users
• Proper cooperation with superiors and other departments
• Implementation and monitoring of applicable rules and procedures
• Creating conditions for efficient knowledge transfer within the company (training, information) and ensuring/ coordinating its provision to external partners
• Ensuring conditions for high-quality internal communication 

Must-Haves:

•  Experience in technical communication with clients
•  Higher technical education
•  English language proficiency at least at B2 level
•  Very good knowledge of the MS Office package, especially Excel
•  Ability to read and understand technical documentation
•  Knowledge of the cable harness industry
