Our institution is a new private international school located in Belgrade, Serbia. We offer an academic program aligned with international Cambridge standards for lower secondary, IGCSE and AS&A level. 

Position Overview

We are seeking enthusiastic and knowledgeable teachers to deliver engaging and rigorous instruction to students in the following subjects:

• Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics,  Science, Business studies, Economics, Accounting, Geography, Psychology, Sociology, Global Practices, Spanish, German, History.

The ideal candidates will have a strong academic background in teaching subject(s), experience teaching in international or bilingual contexts, and a passion for developing students’ analytical, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial skills. The role involves preparing students for success in external examinations while also fostering their understanding of the subject matter. 

 Key Responsibilities

Teaching & Learning

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons,
• Use a range of teaching strategies and resources to engage students and promote deep understanding of the subject,
• Make real-world connections to course content through case studies, current events, simulations, and project-based learning,
• Support students in developing key academic skills including data analysis, evaluation, structured writing, and exam technique,
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, including EAL students and those requiring aademic extension or support,
• Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving,

Assessment & Progress Monitoring

• Design and implement assessments that align with Cambridge standards and learning outcomes,
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student progress and academic growth,
• Monitor student performance through both formative and summative assessments, using data to inform instruction and intervention,
• Prepare students effectively for internal assessments and Cambridge external examinations,
• Enrichment & Extra-Curricular Activities.

Collaboration & Communication

• Collaborate with colleagues within and across departments to support interdisciplinary learning and curriculum coherence.
• Contribute to departmental planning, resource development, and moderation processes.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for development.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with changes to the Cambridge curriculum and best practices in business and economics education.

 Qualifications

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in thought subject (Master's degree is preferable)
• Recognized teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in teaching IGCSE and A Level subject.
• Familiarity with Cambridge lower secondary, IGCSE and A Level syllabuses.
• Proven ability to prepare students successfully for external examinations.
• Experience in an international school setting, with a strong understanding of international curricula.
• Desired Certifications: Valid teaching and administrative  certifications
