To further expand and professionalize our range of business services, we have established a subsidiary, AHK-Service d.o.o., specializing in bookkeeping and accounting. To support our continued growth, the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Accountant to help build and continually improve our new business service offering within AHK Service d.o.o.

Your Responsibilities

• Managing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
• Preparing payroll calculations and payout schedules
• Compiling local financial statements and balance sheets in compliance with Serbian law
• Supporting local bookkeeping processes using Kompass, the AHK-wide proprietary software
• Preparing internal bookkeeping reports for departmental expenses as per management guidelines
• Handling employee registration and deregistration with relevant social and pension insurance bodies
• Calculating taxes and liaising with tax authorities
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual financial business plan and financial reporting in Kompass (ongoing monthly and annual)
• Maintaining and updating fixed asset and inventory records

Your Profile

• University degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
• Official accounting certificate
• Minimum of three years of relevant experience in accounting and bookkeeping
• Strong knowledge of Serbian Accounting Law and IFRS
• Familiarity with working in an international business environment is a plus
• Proficient in English (knowledge of German is considered a plus)
• High level of responsibility, precision, and organizational skills
• Strong team spirit, analytical thinking, and effective communication skills
• Proficiency in Pantheon accounting software is required
