We are looking for:

Chemical laboratory technician who will be carrying out analyses, general laboratory activities, supporting bath preparations and additives, stock management for hazardous substances, coordination & cooperation with external laboratories, ensure and document quality specifications and support similar activities for Electroplating, Cleaning & Wastewater Treatment.

Tasks

• Work according to standard quality methods in the application of good laboratory practices and experienced handling of hazardous materials
• Independent sampling, analysis, documentation and archiving of galvanizing and process baths, wastewater and waste air according to specifications quality using chemical analysis methods
• Independent calculation and implementation of new approaches and additions of process baths and solutions, e.g. etching solutions according to specifications after evaluating the results of the analysis
• Ordering process chemicals and auxiliary materials, storing, packaging and declaring hazardous materials according to specifications
• Support galvanizing, cleaning and wastewater activities, especially solution quality assurance, control and adjustment
• Coordination of sampling and cooperation with external laboratories
• Communicate the description of the malfunction to the maintenance staff
• Support in the development of process and quality analysis methods and independent implementation and documentation of results in cooperation with process engineering
• Definition, installation and calibration of measurement sensors
• Organization of workload in accordance with production control (OTD, TAT) and operation

Requirements

• High school for chemical worker, chemical laboratory technician
• University degree in technical sciences desired
• Experience in a similar position
• Work in accordance with good laboratory practice
• MS Office
• High reliability, methodical processing, performing independent calculations, communication, self-organization
• Willingness to work in 2 shifts
• English language - technical knowledge, good verbal communication
