CHIEF ACCOUNTANT (temporary contract for maternity cover)

YOUR ROLE

Are you passionate about accounting? Are you known for your analytical skills? If so, we have an opportunity that would allow you to ensure the reliability of (general and analytical) accounting operations, organize the accounting function, make financial statements within the set deadlines and in conformity with applicable standards and in accordance with the principle of segregation of duties.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

• Full professional supervision of the financial-accounting processes.
• Prepare and submit tax returns, tax declaration and other reporting (statistics, banks).
• Prepare monthly and yearly closures, reports and other data reporting and related analytics.
• Participate in accounting and tax authority audits.
• Prepare and monitor of company payments, prepare cash analytics, and cash forecasts.
• Cooperate with Shared Services Centers and external tax advisors.
• Provide support for budget and forecast activities.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

Education and Experience:

• Higher education in economics; Master’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, preferred. 
• Minimum 3-5 years experience at Chief or Senior Accountant position. 
• Fluent English verbally and written.

Skills:

• Confident knowledge of MS Excel, Word.
• Proven experience with SAP is beneficial.

Characteristics:

• Advanced accounting skills, ability to use and explain accounting regulations. 
• Ability to analyze complex problems and develop appropriate solutions.
