Project: Reconstruction of the Former Franz Josef Bridge in Novi Sad

Inital basic salary: 2000 eur (Negotiable)

Qualifications and requirements:

• The candidate must have a degree in civil engineering and a related professional qualification certificate (licence), have preferably more than 10 years of experience in road and bridge project construction.
• The candidate must possess professional knowledge in structural design, construction management, geological exploration, engineering surveying, and engineering economics; ability to coordinate the relationships between various disciplines in accordance with the overall needs of the project to ensure the smooth implementation of the project.
• The candidate must have experience in the construction technology and management of foundation construction for cross-river bridges, large-span steel structure bridges, cast-in-situ concrete beams with scaffolding, tunnels and vertical shafts, and those candidates with additional extensive experience in traffic engineering (programming and organization) will be given priority for this position.
• The candidate should be familiar with the civil engineering design standards and procedures in Serbia and Europe, and master professional theoretical knowledge of structure, mechanics, construction technology and other related fields.
• The candidate should be familiar with the management processes, procedures of each stage of engineering construction in Serbia, possess the ability to communicate and coordinate with the relevant government sectors, and is proficient in preparing and submitting relevant management or technical documents.

Technical skills:

• Proficient in using engineering and technical office software such as AutoCAD.
• Possess certain abilities in engineering drawing, drawing review, construction organization design preparation, construction plan preparation, and on-site technical guidance.
• Fluent in English, with excellent written and oral communication skills, and able to communicate effectively with subcontractors, supervising unit, investors, and financiers.
