Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing the entire construction project lifecycle from planning to handover, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
• Developing detailed project schedules (using Microsoft Project), identifying critical milestones, and aligning timelines with stakeholders.
• Monitoring daily construction progress, ensuring adherence to project deadlines and milestones.
• Communicating regularly with subcontractors and project teams to keep all parties informed and aligned.
• Implementing quality control measures and conducting site inspections to ensure high-quality work and adherence to specifications.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards throughout the project.
• Resolving project issues and disputes promptly, including negotiations with contractors and suppliers.
• Identifying and managing potential project risks, developing contingency plans, and mitigating risk impacts.
• Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
• Overseeing the installation of equipment and materials, ensuring they meet project specifications and safety standards.
• Preparing and presenting detailed project reports, including progress updates, budget forecasts, and performance analyses.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of all aspects of the project, including schedules, contracts, and communication records.
• Conducting regular safety audits and ensuring all teams adhere to safety protocols to prevent accidents on-site.
• Implementing change management processes to handle modifications in scope, schedule, or budget.
• Coordinating with project engineering team to resolve technical challenges during the construction phase.
• Ensuring effective resource allocation, optimizing the use of manpower, materials, and equipment for efficient project execution.
• Managing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring all parties fulfill their contractual obligations.
• Leading and managing construction teams, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and delegation of tasks.
• Managing budgets, tracking expenses, and implementing project cost-control measures.
• Ensuring environmental sustainability measures are integrated into the construction process, minimizing ecological impact.

Required qualifications and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field;
• Minimum 7 years of experience in construction management, with a strong focus on scheduling, budgeting, and managing contractors and construction teams;
• Proficient in project management software and tools, including Microsoft Project and Excel;
• Knowledge of construction industry regulations and best practices;
• Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation;
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire project teams;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
• Fluency in English.
