Cost Accountant

We are seeking a skilled Cost Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field with at least 3 years of experience. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Booking, as well as control and recording of all business transactions, including revenues, expenses, receivables/payables, and obligations; Recording and classification of transactions according to accounting standards.
• Regular monitoring of all debts to suppliers and receivables from customers, reconciling receivables and obligations, as well as ensuring conditions for timely debt settlement.
• Preparing and submitting tax returns.
• Preparing, processing, and controlling documentation related to the calculation and payment of compensation and refunds; Verifying and approving official travel expenses.
• Participating in the audit and control of the work of the Tax Administration to ensure that all financial data is accurate and that operations are conducted in accordance with laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Keeping records of fixed assets.
• Preparing reports and analyses required by the business unit, such as cost analysis, profitability, and liquidity, to facilitate business decision-making.
• Conducting monthly analysis of the relationship between costs, volume, and profit (CVP analysis) and collaboration with production and sales sectors.
• Working in SAP and similar ERP platforms.
• Understanding tax and accounting regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in accounting.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting standards and regulations in Serbia.
• Advanced knowledge of working in MS Office.
• Familiar with SAP system.
• Proficient in english language.
