Cost Accountant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Cost Accountant with a strong background in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing and controlling product costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, and comparing actuals against budget. This role requires hands-on ability to work independently, with a strong command of SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and report product cost by material, labor, and expenses
• Prepare and monitor costing budgets, identify variances, and provide insights
• Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes with cost-related data
• Conduct cost analysis to support pricing, inventory valuation, and profitability
• Ensure accurate cost allocation and BOM (Bill of Materials) maintenance in SAP
• Drive improvements in cost efficiency and internal controls
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to gather data and explain cost drivers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3–5 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proficient in SAP (CO, MM, PP modules preferred)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of results
• High level of English and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
