We’re looking for a DevOps Engineer with 5+ years of experience to design, build, and optimize scalable data infrastructure with a focus on AWS. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex technical challenges, enjoys working cross-functionally, and wants to contribute to high-impact, real-time data platforms. You'll work closely with engineering, data, and product teams to ensure smooth operation and performance of critical systems.
This role primarily involves rotating between morning and day shifts, as well as participating in on-call duty rotations.

Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain robust, scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows
- Configure and manage Elasticsearch or OpenSearch clusters for advanced search capabilities
- Develop infrastructure for secure and efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage using AWS or similar cloud technologies
- Implement DevOps best practices across CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Monitor system health and ensure performance, reliability, and uptime of data platforms
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to integrate data systems into products and decision-making
- Contribute to the implementation of data governance, quality, and security protocols
- Automate data flows and infrastructure using Python and infrastructure-as-code tools
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data operations, or DevOps
- Advanced hands-on knowledge of Elasticsearch or OpenSearch (setup, tuning, querying)
- Strong experience with DevOps tools and practices (Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
- Strong proficiency with Python for scripting and data automation
- Experience with SQL and working with both structured and unstructured data (Postgres, Athena, Parquet, Iceberg)
- Cloud infrastructure experience (preferably AWS - e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2, Glue, Athena)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with orchestration platforms like Dagster, Airflow, or similar
- Version control knowledge (Git) and experience working in distributed teams
- Excellent knowledge of English, written and spoken
