Job Responsibilities:
- Conducts and participates in the risk assessment process.
- Participates in the development of training programs for employees on health and safety work, training programs for employee representatives, and training programs for managers.
- Controls and provides recommendations to the employer in planning, selection, use, and maintenance of work equipment, chemical substances, and personal protective equipment.
- Participates in the arrangement and organization of the workplace to ensure safe and healthy working conditions.
- Organizes preventive and periodic examinations of the working environment conditions.
- Organizes preventive and periodic inspections and checks of work equipment and inspections and testing of electrical and lightning protection installations.
- Proposes measures to improve working conditions, especially in high-risk workplaces.
- Monitors and controls the implementation of safety and health measures in accordance with the organization of occupational safety and health at the employer.
- Monitors the situation regarding work injuries and occupational diseases, as well as work-related illnesses, participates in determining their causes, and prepares reports with proposals for their elimination.
- Organizes and conducts training for employees and other persons in accordance with this law.
- Prepares instructions for safe and healthy work and controls their application.
- Organizes medical cheks for employees.
- Cooperates and coordinates work with the healthcare institution that performs occupational medicine activities on all matters related to occupational safety and health.
- Maintains records in the field of occupational safety and health at the employer.
- Monitors changes in regulations and aligns the employer's documents, follows standards, and technical progress in the field of occupational safety and health.
- Monitors the implementation of laws and other regulations for environmental protection and waste management.
- Prepares documents related to fire protection and maintains the fire protection system to ensure full functionality and compliance with legal regulations.
- Implements ISO 45001, 14001 standards and monitors their application
Requirements:
- Higher education, technical educational profile (at least 240 credits in academic or vocational studies within the educational-scientific field of technical-technological sciences and natural-mathematical sciences in the areas of occupational safety, biological sciences, environmental protection sciences, physical sciences, physical-chemical and chemical sciences).
- Fire protection certificate
- Safety certificate
- Preferably, work experience in similar positions.
- Minimum intermediate knowledge of English (B2 level).
- Proficiency in MS Office package.
