We are looking for a motivated candidate to become a part of our Modine team, on the position of:

Finance Controller

Main responsibilities:

• Lead monthly forecasting and annual planning functions at the vertical region-level
• Finalize projections and outputs in collaboration with the sub-vertical General Manager
• Drive accountability to forecasted results and ensure timely submission of deliverables

• Analyze sub-vertical financial results against prior forecast and plan. 
• Oversee the compilation and timely submission of standardized financial and KPI outputs:
• Swings Analyses (actuals, forecast and plan scenarios)
• Daily Dashboards, Operational Performance Reporting
• Monthly Capex summaries, Others as needed
• Communicate actual and forecasted results in business terms to various levels of management
• Support the Sub-Vertical GM with ad-hoc analysis, reporting and insights
• Drive business results through 80/20 disciplines and techniques:
• Support quadrant analyses and related customer actions
• Support zero-up cost analyses
• Play a key role in Vertical Strategic Planning
• Model the impacts of 80/20 actions and drive effective prioritization
• Analyze and justify significant capex investments.
• Actively monitor customer pricing processes affecting the region, including customer sales quotation and transactional price maintenance
• Ensure effectiveness of process and adequacy of material inflation pass-through
• Identify gaps and prescribe countermeasures 
• Support the vertical finance organization. 

Requirements:

• BSc or MSc degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance
• 3 years of financial experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong skillsets in areas of financial analysis, forecasting, and driving business results
• Hands-on system experience with an integrated ERP system and a global consolidation system
• Target and result-oriented person
• Excellent English verbal and written
• Proactive and well-organized person
• Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
