Finance Specialist

Job Purpose:

The Finance Specialist supports the Finance function by ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong compliance standards, and contributing to the overall efficiency of accounting processes. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with a solid accounting background who is eager to grow, take ownership, and further develop their analytical and technical capabilities within a collaborative and well-structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Recording financial transactions in the ERP system (SAP)
• Coordinating and monitoring accounts payable and receivable, including verification of financial documentation and maintaining professional communication with vendors and clients
• Coordinating with internal business partners to ensure timely and accurate preparation and issuance of monthly invoices
• Reconciling the general ledger, bank statements, and vendor/customer balances
• Actively participating in the monthly closing process (cost allocations, accruals, and basic adjustments)
• Performing periodic reconciliation and control of financial data (e.g., payroll-related entries, reimbursements, etc.)
• Maintaining and updating the fixed assets register and supporting depreciation calculations
• Preparing data for internal and external financial reporting, including VAT filings
• Collaborating with the team on continuous improvement of accounting processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting or finance.
• Familiarity with Serbian accounting standards and VAT regulations.
• Knowledge of SAP ERP systems
• Solid Excel skills.
• English proficiency.
