Financial Controller

For our client, a leading international company operating in the mobility, leasing, and fleet management industry, we are looking for a motivated and analytically strong professional to join their finance team in the role of:

Finance Controller (Belgrade)

Key Responsibilities

• Control and supervision of daily and monthly financial and accounting processes
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
• Analysis of financial results and monitoring of deviations and variances
• Active participation in budgeting, forecasting, and business planning activities
• Profitability and cost analyses, including cost/income carriers, with proposals for corrective actions
• Monitoring financial processes, documentation, and workflows to ensure data accuracy and relevance
• Close cooperation with accounting, finance, and controlling teams
• Participation in finance-related and cross-functional projects
• Proposing improvements to financial processes, controls, and reporting activities
• Preparation of comprehensive business reports aligned with management strategy and business objectives

Education & Knowledge

• University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Audit
• Good command of the English language
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, with strong focus on Excel
• Experience working with ERP systems (knowledge of any ERP is considered an advantage)

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in controlling or a closely related finance role
• Mandatory experience in an international business environment
• Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of financial reporting and controlling processes
• Knowledge of IFRS standards
• Previous experience in accounting or audit is considered a strong advantage
• Experience within the service industry is preferred
