Financial Controller

Tasks

• Controller is responsible for supervision of accounting with external accounting and payroll firm, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
• Understanding business needs and preparing meaningful and accurate analysis
• Active participation in annual budgeting and monthly forecast preparation with the board and HQs, P&L statement, balance sheet and cash flow planning etc.
• Perform internal control activities and ad hoc administrative tasks for the given deadlines
• Participate in external, internal financial and tax audits, ensuring fiscal compliance in line with local laws and regulations as well as corporate standards
• Contract management with installing financial controls, managing related business risks and minimizing foreseeable liabilities
• Direct reporting to the local board and the HQ.

What we expect

• Relevant degree in economics or finance
• At least 3 years’ experience in financial / business controlling and/or accounting, financial audits
• Ability to complete financial analysis
• Ability to work on his or her own, has initiative, is proactive though is able to act within corporate guidelines and initiatives
• Attention to the quality of his/her work, accuracy, precision
• Great time management skills
• Fluent in Serbian and English.

The following qualifications are deemed as advantage

• Experience in energy industries – natural gas or electricity or both – is an advantage
• Experience in IFRS accounting – is an advantage
• Hungarian is a plus.
