Finance Assistant / Accounting Clerk (Local Employee)

II. Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Finance Manager in handling daily accounting, taxation, and financial reporting tasks;
• Receive, collect, organize, and archive vouchers and invoices;
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax filing materials;
• Assist in communication and coordination with local accounting firms, tax authorities, and banks;
• Assist in handling employee payroll, reimbursements, social security, and individual income tax matters;
• Complete other finance-related tasks assigned by superiors.

III. Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields;
• Work Experience: At least 2 years of relevant work experience in finance or accounting; prior experience in multinational companies or foreign enterprises is preferred;
• Language Skills: Proficiency in Serbian, with good English reading, writing, and communication skills; knowledge of Chinese is an advantage;
• Professional Skills: Familiarity with Serbian accounting standards and relevant tax regulations; ability to independently handle basic accounting and tax filing tasks; proficiency in financial software and office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.);
• Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong communication and teamwork skills; able to adapt to a Chinese-Serbian cross-cultural working environment.
