Foundry Technologist

Your responsibilities:

• Responsible for the development, testing and optimization of the casting process. This includes the selection of appropriate materials and casting methods (such as sand casting, etc...), as well as setting the process parameters to achieve the desired quality and efficiency
• Responsible for design and tracking of the new production technique or new products and guarantee the completeness.
• Responsible for question analysis and solving in terms of the production site and production technique. Implementation of continuous improvement for increasing the production efficiency and decreasing the cost.
• Owner of Process Failure Mode and Effect Analysis document
• Responsible for planning the process flow, layout and workers.
• Update the process chart, layout and SOP.
• Ability of engineering calculation (Capacity planning, production cost), plan for the production lines.
• Responsible for production machines, fixtures, tools, other production related equipment and proposal of the suppliers. Close cooperation with Maintenance team at root cause analysis.
• Responsible for reconstructing of the machines and layout, coordinate project team members and guarantee the project forward.
• Compliance with/implementation of occupational safety and environmental regulations and continuous improvement.
• Support for all employees with technical questions.
• Technical training for employees.
• Support for quality improvement measures.
• Technical co-operation in CIP measures.

Your profile:

• University degree, mechanical, metallurgical, chemical or electrical engineering related background.
• Experience in base manufacturing related works.
• Basic production layout planning and implementation experience
• Knowledge of mechanical equipment and purchasing process
• Basic project management experience
• Ability to analyze and solve production problems independently
• Experience in metal material production, such as polishing, casting, plating, etc.
• Drawing, project management and other office software
• Cross cultural work experience: fluent in spoken English
• Result oriented, Team work spirit, responsibility, able to work under pressure
• Good Communication skills
