Position Overview:
Granulation Process Lead falls under the category of managers.
The Granulation Process Lead is the supervisor of the shift operating the nanocarbon material granulation complex.
Main duties:
- to organize and supervise the work of operators of thermo-technical equipment in the granulation process;
- to provide operational management of production and to supervise the execution of regulations and management instructions on the site entrusted to him;
- to operate the following equipment from the workstation:
- pneumatic conveyors,
- dosing screws,
- ploughshare mixers,
- ring-die pellet mill,
- bucket conveyors,
- drying equipment,
- packaging machine;
- to set up and to control technological flows of solids, gases, and liquids required for the granulation process;
- to predict and to prevent equipment failures
- to analyze actual processes in different parts of the process chain based on the current technological parameters and his knowledge of physical and chemical processes;
- to comply with occupational health and safety requirements;
- to participate in experimental works on the development of new technological processes and their introduction into production;
- to participate in the development of programs for the improvement of labor organization, organizational and technical events for the timely development of production capacities, improvement of technology, and to control over their implementation;
- to perform development of technological instructions and other technological documentation, introduce changes into the technological documentation in connection with updating of technological process and modes of production;
- to maintain technological documentation, including via an electronic document management system;
- to work at height and handle hazardous materials.
Responsibilities (Tasks):
- Follows the instructions of the immediate supervisor, Chief Technologist of the enterprise.
- Supervises and organizes the work of a team of employees of the granulation system (operators in the granulation process);
- Conducts employee training;
- Monitors equipment performance;
- Ensures that identified faults are rectified within the timeframes specified in the regulations;
- Prepares maintenance and repair plans;
- Monitors the quality and safety of work performed;
- Prepares lists and orders spare parts, checks stock availability;
- Prepares reports, documenting work performed;
- Supervises compliance with safety requirements when working with tools, rotating equipment, pressurized equipment, high temperature, inert, and explosive gases;
- Accounting of raw materials, materials, and logistics within the enterprise in internal journals and in ERP NetSuite.
Required Qualifications:
- Higher technical education;
- Experience in engineering and management positions for at least 3 years.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to train employees;
- Desire and ability to solve non-standard tasks;
- Good knowledge of equipment operation principles and repair methods;
- Proficient PC user, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ERP systems for production management;
- Able to learn on his/her own and teach others;
- Able to work with hands and tools;
- Knowledge of English at least B1 level;
- Knowledge of Russian is an advantage
