Ground & Rail Operational Team Leader

YOUR ROLE

You will process, monitor, and execute customers’ orders, coordinate transportation with suppliers, input and maintain operational data in the IT system and control the documents relevant to your scope of activity. Implementing and applying company’s strategy and standards are key factors for the successful applicant.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Organize, coordinate and monitor all operational activities carried out by the team, ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards and meeting productivity and quality objectives.

• Ensure goods are transported in response to customers specific needs in a profitable manner and fulfilment of commitments (in terms of periods, costs, quality;
• Identifies operational issues, potential problems and opportunities.
• Develops transportation plans, optimizes transportation schemes and controls the process of the transportation.
• Prepares regular monthly reports as well as reports and analyses upon Direct Manager request.
• Recruits, interviews, integrates, and trains new employees.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? 

Education and Experience: 

• Higher education in economics and transportation is advantage. 
• Minimum 3 years similar experience. 
• Fluent English verbally and written.

Skills: 

• Microsoft Office package;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

Characteristics: 

• Strong attention to detail;
• Result and quality oriented.
