Hardware Development Engineer

Quectel Wireless Solutions is global IoT technology developer and cellular module supplier of 5G, LTE, LTE-A, LPWA, Smart Module, C-V2X, GSM/GPRS, UMTS/HSPA(+) and GNSS modules. Due to business expansion on Serbian market in R&D Centre, Quectel is looking for motivated and proactive candidates to join our team in Belgrade.

Hardware Development Engineer

ON-SITE, Monday - Friday with flexible start between 7:30 - 9:30 AM.

We are looking for: Hardware Development Engineer

Main responsibilities:

• Support product development from system level including search for solutions, feasibility studying, creation and finalization of the HW design specification.
• Review of HW designs and implementations with hands-on for development and necessary effort estimation.
• Review customer RFQ or any technical requirement to identify optimal architecture for new design win or maintaining existing account.
• HW feature analysis and prototyping; create & amplify; maintain detail technical requirements for each function domain Working with technical experts in software/hardware/test teams and following to support technology & amplify; feature implementation.
• Perform circuit analysis and simulation related to PCB layout.

Required qualifications:

• Technical related degree Bachelor or Master.
• Experience in PCB design tools such as Altium or similar.
• System architectural level expertise in some of the following areas: Embedded Linux, Embedded device development (PCIe, USB, UART, GPIO, I2C or I2S, RGMII, SGMII, Ethernet, Hypervisor, QNX, etc.), data services (TCP/IP, QoS, etc.), memory & file management systems and protection algorithms, wireless standards (3GPP, GNSS, WIFI/BT, CAN BUS, etc.).
• Fluency in English.
