Adrian Magnus is a fast-growing international premium brand operating across Spain, Germany, and the United States, with production in Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
Our operational hub is based in Belgrade, where we are building a strong Sales & Operations center, while managing distributed international teams.
We are entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a senior HR leader who will take full ownership of people strategy, recruitment performance, and organizational structure.
The Mission
We are not looking for an HR administrator.
We are looking for a builder and leader.
Your mission is to design, implement, and scale a structured HR system that supports rapid international hiring, reduces turnover, and creates a culture of accountability and performance in a hybrid (office + remote) environment.
You will work closely with the COO & CEO and have real authority, ownership, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
1. International Recruitment Leadership & Strategy (30%
- Own and execute recruitment strategy across Europe including Serbia, USA, and Latin America
- Lead and manage a team of recruiters (senior & mid-level)
- Ensure time-to-fill targets (≤30 days for priority roles) are consistently met
- Act as final decision-maker for culture fit and senior hires
- Optimize sourcing channels, recruitment tools, and hiring funnels
2. HR Architecture & Policy Framework (30%)
- Build and implement a Company Employee Handbook, HR policies, and SOPs
- Design and own performance management systems (KPIs, 1:1s, reviews, PIPs)
- Establish clear accountability and escalation frameworks
- Create structure where expectations, results, and consequences are transparent
3. Retention, Culture & People Operations (25%)
- Analyze turnover drivers and implement measurable retention strategies
- Build structured onboarding programs (Offer → Day 90)
- Strengthen engagement and alignment between office-based and remote teams
- Ensure HR processes support growth, not bureaucracy
4. Compliance & HR Governance (15%)
- Ensure compliance with Serbian labor law for local employees
- Oversee contractor and B2B agreements for international staff
- Partner with HR Operations to mitigate legal and operational risks
What Success Looks Like in This Role
- Priority roles are closed within 30 days
- Voluntary turnover decreases measurably within 6 months
- Clear HR structure, policies, and performance frameworks are implemented within 90 days
- The CEO no longer needs to manage HR execution directly
Who You Are
- Experience: 5+ years in HR, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership role (Head of HR / HR Manager / People Lead)
- International Exposure: Proven experience hiring across EU and/or US markets
- Leadership Mindset: You manage people, performance, and outcomes — not just processes
- Builder Mentality: You are comfortable creating structure from ambiguity
- Languages: Fluent English (C1/C2) is mandatory; Serbian is required; Spanish is a strong plus
- Execution-Oriented: You are comfortable making tough decisions when needed
Compensation & Growth
We offer a competitive and transparent compensation package aligned with senior-level responsibility and impact:
Base Salary: €3,000 – €4,000 gross per month, depending on experience and seniority
Performance-Based Bonus:
Quarterly and annual bonuses linked to:
- time-to-fill performance
- retention metrics
- successful scaling of the HR function
Total annual bonus amount range between €2.000-€4.000 according to KPI metrics.
