Relio is a Swiss Fintech company with offices in Zurich and Belgrade. Two years ago, we launched fully digital business accounts for freelancers, SMEs, start-ups and corporate clients, becoming one of just five institutions currently holding a FinTech licence in Switzerland. At Relio, we don’t just "do HR"—we build People Operations as a strategic, data-driven function. We are looking for HRBP who is as comfortable designing a performance evaluation framework as they are navigating the complexities of Serbian and Swiss labor law or organizing a team building. You will manage a robust People function and act as the primary liaison for our international team, maintaining excellence in culture and compliance as we scale.
What You’ll Do:
- End-to-End Talent Management: Own the full recruitment lifecycle—from crafting job descriptions and managing platforms (LinkedIn, Infostud, Joberty) to conducting screenings and structured interviews, high-touch onboarding. Conduct exit interviews to gather actionable insights for leadership.
- Compliance & Legal Liaison: Collaborate with legal counsel on internal HR documentation and labor-legal matters. Serve as the primary point of contact for Swiss labor law adherence and collaborate with legal counsel on internal HR documentation and labor-legal matters.
- Policy & Safety Oversight: Maintain internal policies (Rules of Procedure, Company Values, Guides, Protocols) and manage health and safety requirements.
- Payroll & Admin Excellence: Prepare all payroll data in coordination with external accountants and manage employee records, including PTO, sick leave, and attendance tracking.
- Performance, Culture & Engagement: Own the end-to-end evaluation cycle, covering onboarding, monthly and annual satisfaction surveys, and quarterly/annual performance appraisals. Lead cultural initiatives, organize team-building events, celebrations, and cultural initiatives that reinforce company values.
- Educational Program Management: Oversee the employee education plan, including the design of test plans, tracking completion timelines, managing test administration, and issuing certificates.
- Internal Communications: Drive transparency across the organization by managing the logistics and flow of structured meetings (All Hands, ExB, BoD).
- Executive & Office Support: Provide high-level administrative assistance to Leadership and oversee office management, including vendor relations, procurement, and facility maintenance.
- Financial Tracking: Manage the HR budget, monitoring costs related to recruitment and corporate events.
Who You Are:
- Empathetic & Diplomatic: You are a skilled mediator who can handle conflict resolution and sensitive interpersonal dynamics with grace within a highly culturally diverse team.
- Experienced: You have a proven track record in a similar HRBP or People Ops role, ideally within a fast-paced startup or fintech environment.
- Multi-Jurisdictional Mindset: You are familiar with (or ready to master) Swiss labor law and cross-border HR management.
- Tech-Savvy: You embrace AI tools and digital transformation to automate manual workflows, with a strong willingness to learn no-code AI tools to further optimize and automate internal processes.
- Data-Driven: You understand HR KPIs (Turnover, Time-to-Hire, Employee NPS) and use them to tell a story to leadership.
- Professional fluency in English and Serbian is a must.
- Minimum of 3 years (ideally 5+) in an HR role; alternatively, we highly value candidates with a rich professional background and significant international experience.
